Privacy Policy
Privacy Clean processes selected photos on your device. We do not upload your photos, require an account, show advertising, or include analytics SDKs.

1. About this policy
This policy explains how Privacy Clean (package name
com.privacycleaner.privacy_image_cleaner) handles photos,
image metadata, local app settings, and purchases.
2. Local photo processing
Metadata scanning and photo cleaning take place locally on your device. Photos and cleaned copies are not uploaded to our servers. The app does not operate a cloud service for processing or storing your photos.
3. Photos and metadata
When you select photos, import files, or share images into the app, Privacy Clean accesses only the files you choose. The app may inspect file size, image dimensions, EXIF, GPS, XMP, IPTC, and related image metadata to identify privacy risks and create cleaned copies.
Android may redact media location information before making a file available to an app. Privacy Clean does not request location permission by default and does not promise access to original GPS coordinates.
4. Local storage and retention
Original photos remain unchanged. Cleaned copies and temporary import files are stored locally until you share or save them, replace them with another batch, remove app data, uninstall the app, or the operating system clears temporary storage.
The app may store preferences on your device, including your language, output preset, onboarding status, and local Pro entitlement state. You can remove this local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
5. Data we do not collect
Privacy Clean does not collect or transmit:
- Your photos or cleaned copies
- Filenames or image metadata contents
- Location coordinates
- Contact details or user account information
- Advertising identifiers or analytics events
- Crash analytics
The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
6. Permissions and system services
Privacy Clean uses Android photo picker, file picker, share intent, and media storage services for files you explicitly choose or save. It does not request full photo library access or location permission by default.
7. Purchases
Pro purchases and purchase restoration are handled by Google Play Billing. Google may process payment, Google account, device, and purchase information under the Google Privacy Policy. Privacy Clean does not receive or store your complete payment card details.
After a successful purchase or restoration, the app stores a Pro entitlement state locally on your device.
8. Third-party services
The app uses only the following external platform services:
- Google Play Billing for Pro purchases
- Android system services for selecting, sharing, and saving files
Privacy Clean does not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
9. Children's privacy
Privacy Clean is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not provide account creation, social features, advertising, or behavioral analytics.
10. Security
Keeping photo processing on the device reduces exposure to remote services. However, no device or storage method is completely secure. You are responsible for controlling access to your device and for deciding where cleaned copies are shared or saved.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be published at this address with a revised “Last updated” date.
